European Code of Conduct for Mediators

Dr Hartmut Frenzel has committed itself to full compliance with the EUROPEAN CODE OF CONDUCT FOR MEDIATORS committed.

The Code was developed by the European Commission in cooperation with experts and is aimed at all mediators working in cross-border or national conflicts. The aim of the Code is to set uniform ethical standards throughout Europe and to strengthen confidence in the mediation process.

It contains guidelines on the independence, neutrality, competence and procedural organisation of mediators and represents a voluntary commitment that promotes responsible and transparent handling of conflicts.

By publicly committing himself to comply with this code, Dr Frenzel confirms his professional self-image as a mediator:
